adding transponder frequencies on a Coolsat 8000HD

Been a few years since I had one , but I remember adding many and often . No blind scan , they'll get use to it . Are you having trouble keying them in or with saving them , after key padding in ?

    99w channels

Having a CBS channel on 99w would be great . Especially for people that live out, in OTA no man's land areas .

    87 west

Hey redford , I've got the same lnb on a old 36"x30" prmstr dish , I use for the CW ch's on 91w . Facing the front of my dish , the square flat spot , where c band cable screws in , is set at the 8 o'clock position . At least that's best for my location in mid-Mo. , You might want to start out...

Elevation Angle - UpsideDown - Offset 1.2m Dish

Hi , Y-Naught . what ever you do , don't loose heart . Once you get thru all the "trial & error" , hit those 99w signals again and tune everything on your dish , to max those signal levels , then the fun should began . Until the conical scalar ring is position just right and the lnb skew is...

    Mini-Bud is back!

Very interested in hearing about all watchable ch's you can pull in from sat's besides 99w & 91w . Thanks for posting small bud results .

    Yet another mini-BUD experiment

I use a homemade 4 1/2" diameter funnel/cone , 2"deep . covered with foil tape (painted white) on the end of my c band lnb , to first search for signals , Much more forgiving than the conical scalar ring , that I fit on last for "time consuming" fine tuning . I can't even find c band signals on...

Lesea (also listed as World Harvest) is daily christain programing , but shows alot of 60's and 70's sitcoms , afternoon & evening , has 6 ch's , but 2 of each or usually duplicate shows . You never know when the GDMX feeds are on or not . Shows alot of jerry springer , acess hollywood , ect. ...

    Looking for 1.2m Bud Results/

Living so far from OTA ch's , I often depend on the P.R. mux , sat 99w , First used an old prmstr dish for it . Lesea was always dependable on that 36" x 30" dish , but the mux only about 75% of the time . So went to a 1m dish which solved that problem , also adding kcwy-tv & GDMX feeds to my...

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

A dish that big , that does so well on c band , would just be wasted on ku for me . Even for multiple ku lnb's , a smaller dish would the job . But I'd sure put it to use on sat's 99w & 91w here .

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

In the past I have used satstar.net to see tp possibilities for 90cm size dishes at my location . It's easy and free (there is a pay side of it too) , I couldn't get signals from everyone the choices it gave me tho . probably my dish's fault . If you haven't used that site , might want to try...

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

I'm envious , it's mainly c band big dish here or pay tv (cable/dishnet) unless you live less than 50 miles from a major city .

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

That tp 3845 H 15030 is one of the strongest on that 99w sat . Just wished it had cbs on it too . I'm 70 miles from St.Louis & 60 miles from Columbia Mo (the nearest towns with OTA tv stations) , OTA is very unreliable . So the PR Mux is on at my house often . Pictures You included...

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

With a dish of your size and quality , I could probably pull in a few more channels , but with my make/shift 90cm dish this is all I get on 99w :... WHT/Lesea ch's (old sitcom's & christain programing) , VirginIsland / PuertoRico Mux (abc , nbc , cw , fox & lwn) , GDMX...

C-Band First Try 1.2m Offset here in Wales, UK

Great reception , especialy with out adjusting the scalar ring . I enjoy play with c band on a homemade 36'' dish here in the mid-west US , but just a few sat's to get decent results on (mainly 99w & 91w) . Conical scalar ring and lnb adjustment is the most critical & hardest part for my set up...
