For legal FTA reception, as far as I know there is nothing out there that you are able to get from circular signals. The only thing that you would get is encrypted stuff.

I fully agree, not smaller than a 8 footer. My 10 footer is the best dish I own so far and if I can help it I will not go smaller on dish size again.

I checked the web and I found a C2 in Thailand which appears to be a standard, lo was right.. frequency was right 17 K...70db. Since I only know a few words in thai I was not able to order it. I may give them a call over the holidays when I am off of work. So I settled for the BSC 422 for now.

I am looking to purchase a c-band only linear LNBF with 2 outputs for my 10 foot dish. I don't think (not sure) that I would need a universal, so a standard LNBF should do. What brand etc would you recommend, links would be helpful. Thank you.

Something like that could work very well for most C-band dishes to make it easier to bring dishes back from the far east or west. It would also balance dishes for being front heavy.
