    I get ALTV without a sub. I cancelled Programming Centers Pick 10 last year but found that I still have access to do an online rehit. ALTV will go out on occasion but comes right back after a rehit. This is on a 920.

    So I change the frequency from 3724 to 3723 and it comes in but I have a 10 point drop on the signal. Pretty strange!

    I have never tried it because of some of the negatives I have read here. I really never needed it because I have KU on the DS2076. I might try this sometime this weekend if it's not too hot.

    I have the 6 foot Fortec with the BCS621 and have found very little that I could not get. Bigger is better but 6 foot works for most sats that I look at. Iceberg will probably agree.

    I have never done business with NPS but I can tell you the people at SRL are teriffic and easy to work with. I think you will be pleased.

    920 battery voltage OK, replace anyway???

    Seems like I read on here somewhere that type of battery does not fade it just goes dead when it's reached the end of it's life.

    Yes if his channel count is at 4702 he should have the maps. He needs to go to the menu screen and add the satellites he want's at this point. Options 6,4,4 on my 920.

    DSR922 channel count variation

    My 920 will do that also depending on what sat I am pointed at. Usually my count is about 4733 but I have noticed it higher at times.
