    W3 on the 922 is Amc 3, Amc 9 is W9 at 83w. My Lnb's are the Norsat 8515 c band and Norsat 4506A for ku. and a Chaparal co rotor II feed horn.

    I have mine stup so the dc pass goes to the 922 it controls the power to the lnb and the polarity. the dc block side then goes to the diseqc switch then to the sathawk pvr 800.

    check with skyvision for remotes the use to carry a good selection on the old analog receivers.

    No problems here getting both on a 8.5 ft dish 72 is a little stronger but get good lock on 137 at 50 quality.

    The bar you got hooked to the dish ring flips in the other direction and the actuator hooks to it and the dish ring the way you have it is for a stationary mount.:)

    Looks like the one I got last year now if i can just get the time to finish the install. make sure you take some help because that mount is a monster.:eek:

    check C-band Satellite TV, 4DTV and Free To Air Satellite Entertainment for a remote I think they still sell them also the ultra was a fine analog receiver I have the 4600 in storage.

    the poles that i have pulled with cement i dug a trench to one side to lay the pole over and use a wedge and sledge hammer to split the concrete it usually splits into 2 sections then all you have to lift is the pole.:)

    thanks for the reply it just had me confused when it came out to 42" and the scalar was only 39" from the face of the dish there is no way to set it at 42" unless it was mounted behind the scalar ring.

    does anyone know the focal length of a 8.5' solid Birdview dish. I did the cacalations of diameter and depth formula but it don't seem right the distance i come up with is 42 to 43 in. but when I measure from the scalar ring down to the center of the dish its only 39.25 in. what gives am i...

    Birdveiw declination

    thanks for the links my lat is at 38 degrees so declination would be 6.02 and no they did not have any washers installed so that's why i suspected the declination was off thanks for all the help.:)
