Pole is 3ft in the ground in concrete. 6ft in the air. Dish is 6ft on H180 moteck motor. Ground is dry but frozen. What is a ballast?

My dish has been shifting position. I have to on a say every couple of days to re-align. Never had this problem in the Summer. Is it the cold or I have a dish mounting problem? Any help will really help. Thanks

I have an AZBOX HD Premium plus and a Sathawk 800HD and they both bring it down with no problem.

I am in Houston also. I have a 6ft dish and I can go as low as 30W. Anything lower will be below the horizon. At 37.5W, i do receive 2 channels. Metro TV ( Ghana) and SilverBird TV ( Nigeria) coming in very strong at 80% Quality. SilverBird TV is 8PSK and needs perfect alignment.

What is the size of your BUD? I have an H180 motor drive my 6 foot and i get everything, from 30W to 148W with excellent quality

Interesting. How come i get Silverbird TV from Texas on that bird. I will expect someone from Florida to get a better shot at that bird. Your setup has to be spot on to get that as it is an 8psk S2 signal.

I am in Texas and i am getting both channels on my 6ft dish. Silverbird is coming weak though but it is watchable. My Azbox premium plus power supply just died so i am in the dark now for a few days.

Is anybody receiving the silverbird TV on 37.7w in the US? I know that satellite says on lyngsat that it covers Europe and Africa, but i am able to get Metro TV here in Houston on that Satellite eventhough it says footprint is Europe and Africa.

I have a 6 ft dish that goes out of alignment with the arc and requires a little adjustment about once each month. I don't know what is moving as the mast is rock solid and the dish is solid. Is it something that others go through with their BUDs too?

Ikki, what signal quality are you getting on NHK?

I installed a fan in mine and it runs cool. I noticed even when you power the unit off using the remote, the power suppy and main board circuits are still powered. That is why the unit stays hot even when off ( soft off)

Ice, Do you get it on 45W on V 3991? That would be strange because here in Houston, Tx i used to get it but for the past week, nada. It is coming strong instead on 55W @ V3842. Let us know what you find out.
