"Moved" without success

1st post to Sat Guys - thanks for all the great info to all that post regularly. I recently "moved" from Temple, TX to Austin, TX for the HD locals. My bill lists the Austin address as my service address, but the program guide still doesn't have the Austin HD locals listed. I have a 622 and a 211. I've reset both and did a check switch with the 211 to no avail. Any advice? Thanks.

I am sorry but all this "moving" going on is fine and dandy, Cause I am sure dish hates the darn stupid law(you are breaking the LAW by the way) about the locals issues, cause it is NOTHING but advertising dollars motivated, BUT what are all of you folks that have "moved" Gonna do when you need a service call and cant get it for FREE because you have to call a local guy to fix your dish cause you moved from you correct address. I cannot count the service calls I have done due to sharing rec,or getting locals illegally, and how many times ppl get pissed for having to pay and not get it free. We read so many posts about ppl MAD cause they did not get something for free.. I undertand that noone in this post has said anything about getting something free but a service call or issue needs to be addressed. Heck I have seen several time when I worked for DNSC and an RSP that I spent a good deal of precious time looking for a residence only to find out they had "moved" Or never did "move" to begin with.
Sorry for the rant...But there is another side to the whole MOVE issue...

Way to go, going after my username you are very smart..oooooohhhh.. It comes from the fish crappie ?dumba$$..
But otherwise. I agree the law is stupid. And the argument that it is about advertising dollars is valid. The only reason it is in place is to try to force you to watch commercials. Heck we are paying good money for TV and still having to watch the darn commercails. They are double diping and the only way to fight it is "move" or use a DVR all the time.But not to anyone but the local channells. I really dont blame those of you for moving to get the channels,If they are not available to you it is those that are cheating to get another city that are shallow. I just wanted to show another side to the story.

That law covers the satellite carrier. If the carrier is told you're in market "X" and provides you locals for that market, no laws have been broken, nothing says that the carrier has to verify what you tell them.

This is true, but the reason is a bit more involved. Here is a very condensed version:

Take another look at the line you quoted. "Shall be permitted" is the opposite of not allowed, and it says they can provide up to 2. After applying the qualifications spelled out elsewhere (white zone, grade B grandfathering, etc), "not allowed" is the end result for most people.

And after a federal judge applied the penalty spelled out for not properly handling those qualifications, Dish is not allowed to offer out of market locals to anyone, even those who legitimately qualify.

I'm getting fabulous picture on Ch. 148 4k, but zero audio with H713. This is with a recorded show (Notre Dame game). Anyone else have this? Audio is fine on every other channel.

It's a known issue.
For a temporary fix, go into the menu, Audio, and turn Dolby Audio "OFF". You will have PCM stereo audio.

I was able to give the tech ops team some data logs so they could diagnose the problem, and they rolled me back to H708 temporarily. It fixed that issue.

They let me know that they understand what caused the issue, and it will be fixed within a few weeks in a new update.

I guess they will be busy when lots of people start asking for rollbacks to H708 now that you mention that downgrades of software does exist because it will likely fix the OTA Single Tuner and the IR Remote problems in H710-H713.

The future of Stargate is in question today, as SCI FI Channel has cancelled the long-running Stargate SG-1, Multichannel News reported today and a GateWorld source has confirmed. The news regrettably follows the airing of the show's milestone two-hundredth episode on Friday.

Stargate Atlantis, meanwhile, has been renewed for a fourth season, with the network hoping to see that the spin-off series can stand alone, according to a source.

Well, there are a couple involving the Antarctic. "Solitudes", S1 E17 (one of my favorites), Then, "Lost City', S7 E21 and E22. Then, in the SGA pilot, "Rising", S1 E1 and E2, it starts out in the Antarctic for about the first 20 minutes or so.

If I understand your question, O'Neill had the Ancient's knowledge in the "Lost City" two-part episode. That was when Anubis attacked Earth and there was a big battle over Antarctica.
