I have tears in my eyes as I type this! :(

Mosi was up there with Larry Bird, Steve Grogan, Terry O'Reilly and Dwight Evans as my childhood heroes!

I had the pleasure of meeting this GREAT man in Dec. 1979, as I was invited to attend the Patriots team Christmas party (my dad worked for the Pats then).

Mosi, along with Don Hasselbeck (Matt's dad) spent 45 minutes talking to me about the importance of school.

I will always remember you, Mosi.......................RIP

Lofa Tatupu is his son who plays now.

Off topic comment here, Don Hasselbeck's first four career receptions were for a total of five yards and four touchdowns. Honest!

More on this outstanding human being in today's Boston Herald:

Beloved Mosi Tatupu left indelible imprint - BostonHerald.com

Had he worked in construction rather than football all those years, he wouldn't have done finish work. He would have swung a pick and laid the foundation. That's the kind of football player he was, which is what perhaps made his unexpected passing Tuesday at the age of 54 so shocking to anyone who remembers "Mosi's Mooses" - that fiercely loyal fan club that sat, fittingly enough, in end-zone seats rather than club seats.
It was the right place for Mosi's Mooses to gather because that's who the Patriots' greatest special teams player was. He was a regular guy like them, a regular guy who became a cult hero, not because of nifty runs or soft hands or a chest-beating baritone, but because he played football the way the game is supposed to be played - hard and with unrelenting good cheer.

When they write the history of the NFL, Mosi Tatupu won't even merit a footnote. When they write the history of the New England Patriots [team stats], the same may be true. He had no statistics to speak of, unless you count the bodies he left strewn around NFL stadiums when he was covering kicks and blocking linebackers while teammates got the glory.
He was the kind of guy you find on every job site, factory or mill. The guy who shows up every day. Never late, never sick, never complaining. The guy you don't notice until he's gone.

And yet some more........................

Mosi Tatupu showed class on and off the field - BostonHerald.com

When he opened the session for questions, the first was entirely predictable: "How much do you make?"
There's a vivid memory here of the look that crossed his face.
"A lot," he answered, uncomfortably. "A lot more than your teachers who, considering what they do, should be making more than we are. What I do just doesn't compare to what they're trying to do for all of you."
That's who Mosi Tatupu was, a very decent guy who just happened to be a wonderful football player, too.

This should hit a lot of folks with a dose of reality. I can only imagine how much more common this will get as AI progresses.

I read several stories on this and most are clear as mud. They say a lot of the stolen bitcoin has been "locked out" and that everyone will be made financially whole. I guess time will tell if either of these statements are actually true.

The "Secure Asset Fund" had about $1 billion in reserves... in Bitcoin.

The fund started in 2018, so it may take a while to make investors whole, much less replenish the fund.

Sometimes a thread gets so many posts in it that is can cause issues for the server so that why today we introduce The Song Name Game Part 3!

So let the game continue!

The last song was added by Bobby who posted...

One Meat Ball - Andrews Sisters

CONTINUE ON AND HAVE FUN! WELCOME HOME TO SATELLITEGUYS.US!

Here are the original rules for the game as posted by WebbyDude back in 2006. http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/68645-Song-Name-Game

Just name a song title and the band who performed it. The next person does the same thing, but needs to list a song title or band name which includes a word from the previous entry. Pick songs from any genre.

Example:

Long Live Rock and Roll -- Rainbow

Rainbow in the Dark -- Dio

Another example:

Ride the Lightning -- Metallica

Lightning Strikes -- Ozzy Osbourne

Get it?

An additional note: we all know that song titles, sometimes, use profane words. Because this is a family friendly website it is advised that you clean up that title up a bit. This is accomplished by using something like sh!t instead of the real word. Thanks....

It states the average amount they are under water is OVER $7,000. :eek

Personally, I tend to be the type that drives a vehicle for a lot of years....do my own oil changes and other fluid changes. Just replaced the spark plugs and a couple coils. Youtube is great for things like this.

I'm pretty sure the most you can get is seven.

What America can't afford is the payments on $80,000+ pickups and SUVs and $40,000+ crossovers.

Finished season 3 last night. Still one of my favorite shows.

Anyone else wonder if there might be something else going on with Callum? Seems to me he has too much access to Russian intelligence.

Great ending, but it ran in circles most of the season.

Over the past few weeks, I have had problems connecting to streaming services (Netflix, HBO et al). When I go to the TV's native Channels, I have no problem. The Dish internet troubleshooter shows I have a good internet connection. I'm wondering whether it's an issue with my internet provider or a problem with the Dish software on the Hopper Plus. Anyone else seeing this?

I have a DISH Hopper 3 (Software H713) with Hopper Plus (Software P15403). I have not tried streaming services but I primarily watch TVB Jadeworld international package which is only available by streaming and when I have an issue, I usually have to go to a non-streaming satellite channel first before the streaming channels will work again. What software versions do you have and what is the error message if any are showing on your screen? or is that Dish downloading logo just stuck and never finishes?

I'm on H713 on the Hopper and P15403 on the Hopper Plus. It shows internet connection issues and doesn't finish loading the various services. I see the "loading circle going around. Sometimes I get a message saying that the service is having trouble loading my content and to check the internet connection.

Did it ever work correctly before? Hard to say what the problem is. Usually for streaming, it will show the Dish logo with lines sweeping down to show downloading, never seen the circle issue. Did you try a manual reboot, red button reset, power cord unplug/replug to see if it makes a difference.

Might be worth just to ditch the hopper plus. No issues here on h713

Buy a roku and dump the hopper plus you'll be better off. If you have a smart tv you don't need either one. No hopper plus here and no issues!!!
