Watching recordings on Joey Problems

Anyone having issues watching recordings on there Joey. I have tried to watch a few shows on the Joey but the recordings cut off?

I first posted in the Dish area but figured I would
Probably be better placed here, if a mod can remove the post in the Dish area please

I don't know if this is the same as you have experienced but last night while watching a recorded program via the Joey, about halfway through the picture went black/no sound. After two or three seconds it just went to live TV. I went back to the DVR list and selected the program > play and it picked right up an finished. This was a half hour program. After this I selected a recording again from the Joey and this time from the EHD and the same thing occurred but this time it was an hour program and it happened twice. One Hopper and one Joey, Hopper only connected to Ethernet.

Sounds like my problem. When I was watching recorded shows yesterday and it happened I would go back to the menu and resume watching the show It is a bit annoying that it does it

good thing you can DL things

I missed a few weeks of Game of thrones due to weird DVR issues, but was able to DL them on demand just fine

I am having same issue when trying to watch show from DVR in family room. Screen keeps going black and have to back out of it. Happened while watching show using a Joey and DVR in basement. Real annoying.

Another example:

Ride the Lightning -- Metallica

Lightning Strikes -- Ozzy Osbourne

Get it?

An additional note: we all know that song titles, sometimes, use profane words. Because this is a family friendly website it is advised that you clean up that title up a bit. This is accomplished by using something like sh!t instead of the real word. Thanks....

It states the average amount they are under water is OVER $7,000. :eek

Personally, I tend to be the type that drives a vehicle for a lot of years....do my own oil changes and other fluid changes. Just replaced the spark plugs and a couple coils. Youtube is great for things like this.

This should hit a lot of folks with a dose of reality. I can only imagine how much more common this will get as AI progresses.

I read several stories on this and most are clear as mud. They say a lot of the stolen bitcoin has been "locked out" and that everyone will be made financially whole. I guess time will tell if either of these statements are actually true.

Finished season 3 last night. Still one of my favorite shows.

Anyone else wonder if there might be something else going on with Callum? Seems to me he has too much access to Russian intelligence.

Hopper 3 with Hopper plus internet connection problems

Over the past few weeks, I have had problems connecting to streaming services (Netflix, HBO et al). When I go to the TV's native Channels, I have no problem. The Dish internet troubleshooter shows I have a good internet connection. I'm wondering whether it's an issue with my internet provider or a problem with the Dish software on the Hopper Plus. Anyone else seeing this?

I have a DISH Hopper 3 (Software H713) with Hopper Plus (Software P15403). I have not tried streaming services but I primarily watch TVB Jadeworld international package which is only available by streaming and when I have an issue, I usually have to go to a non-streaming satellite channel first before the streaming channels will work again. What software versions do you have and what is the error message if any are showing on your screen? or is that Dish downloading logo just stuck and never finishes?

Sometimes I get a message saying that the service is having trouble loading my content and to check the internet connection.

Did it ever work correctly before? Hard to say what the problem is. Usually for streaming, it will show the Dish logo with lines sweeping down to show downloading, never seen the circle issue. Did you try a manual reboot, red button reset, power cord unplug/replug to see if it makes a difference.

Might be worth just to ditch the hopper plus. No issues here on h713

Buy a roku and dump the hopper plus you'll be better off. If you have a smart tv you don't need either one. No hopper plus here and no issues!!!
