Ok, here's the deal. The beginning of February, we switched from Dish Network to Directv in order to get HD. The Dish installer couldn't find line of sight to either 129 or 61.5. I sent back our 625, but since our neighbor is using the Superdish, we obviously kept the switch and LNB on the dish.

My question is this. If I buy some RG-6 cable and run it from the dish to the living room, and buy a new receiver, could I call up dish and subscribe to just the Terre Haute locals?

I know there would be an access fee, and (if I get a DVR) a DVR fee, which is fine. I just want to make sure it is possible before I spend the money on cabling and the receiver.

Thanks.

Yes you can do that. It runs around $9/month for locals only. Get an 508 from ebay cheap, then you have a DVR with no fees.

I wouldnt watch BSG if it were being filmed in my guest bedroom
