Someone needs to tell E* engineering that Discovery HD Theater is now Velocity (or something like that).......
 
probably nothing as all it did was renumber those test channels. Also the TP's that they are on are already pretty full so could you add any new channels on them?

Heck for all we know Dish may be yanking some locals soon (no I do not have any info.....just making an observation) and these are the "your channel got pulled because _________________ owner wanted a 1% increase and we said no"

Actually, only the OTA is 480 widescreen. Fox 21 HD is available on Comcast, Directv and Fios

Is Salisbury, MD the only DMA left that requires a 2 dish install if you want locals and HD?

A single dish WA install still works for SD only.

With the addition of an outlet in the sixth largest TV market, the multicast music network extends its reach by another 2.5 million TV homes, 2.17% of all TV homes.
The network, which include videos and recorded concerts, now clears more than 50 million homes or more than 44% of all TV homes.

You can get the WA single dish which looks at 110, 119, & 129 for HD. However, 129 is mighty low on the horizon. I know mine appears to look directly at my garage ;-). I actually had a wing dish for 61.5, but I relocated it to 129 and moved it away from the house. Where my superdish is now, I'd never see 129 w/ the single dish.

You know, I think i do remember reading that Fox21 was being piped to Comcast in HD, but no joy in VA. Heck, Charter here in Accomack Co. has ZERO HD on their system...
 
Yea i could have hit 129 at my location as well but I think that per Dish the Salisbury DMA is technically outside the coverage area of 129 and all HD installs that want locals are supposed to get a 2 dish install.

(After 10 years with Dish, when I finally went HD I decided that a single dish install with HD locals made more sense so I switched to Direct)

Shouldn't be outside the 129 area... I get it just fine & actually Dish sent a tech out to relocate my wing to 129 6mos after I'd already done it. The tech even said I had higher #s than he usually sees... :) I run low to mid 50's on the receiver meter...
