Well yes, but that's not really being announced. Prior to them becoming available I didn't see it advertised or on the upcoming freeview channel. I saw it for other providers....

I got an email on 11/21/12, advertising the free preview. STARZ and ENCORE are free this weekend! You need to go the the Dish site and sign up for these notices.
