I have 2 311 receivers, and 2 811 receivers. 3 of the 4 get both 110 and 119 from the Dish 500. One 311 has stopped seeing the 110. I did the standard troubleshooting, disconnecting the sat cable and running check switch, doing the reset to factory defaults, but still it only sees the 119.

The LNB is a DP Quad. Is this a LNB problem, a Dish 500 problem or could it be a receiver or cable problem. One thing I did notice now is that the cable coming out of the grounding block for that box is not as thick as the other 3 cables. I think the installer used some of the old cable TV coax.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I moved the receiver to a location with a working 311. After a check switch, this one worked there too. When I moved it back, the same symptoms came back. I'll work on the outside cables tomorrow.

Edit: Turns out that two receivers don't pass the switch test. One gets the 110 channels, the other gets the 119 channels. I'm thinking new DP Quad at this point.
