I think the HD version looks quite nice(; we have it with Dish Latino Dos). I also like the new "format" of the channel instead of the old Discovery Kids format. Too bad you cannot add HD to the Welcome Pack or/and Dish Family (or get HD Free for Life with the two packages).

the only HD I can get is if I add something from alacarte like Heartland Package. Then the channels that are in HD will be in HD on WP.

NO worries....but Directv doesnt have Hub in HD and I like some of the older shows on there

What's worse, generally speaking, was that they removed most of the more educational/intelligent shows and replaced them with shows to advertise their Hasbro products...Pound Puppies, Strawberry Shortcake, GI Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony.

They pretty much became all reruns before they discontinued them completely. I remember I used to watch endurance and sometimes Flight 29 down, but that was about it. Heck I remembered when Discovery Kids were on NBC on Saturday mornings. Some of those shows were good to watch.
