121 and 105 Local take down (what will happen to 121 and 105?)

I have heard that as of tomorow 121 and 105 will have all local markets removed from them. Those markets have all been moved to 129 or 61.5. After this happens 105 and 121 will have no programing on them.

What is Dish planning to do with 105 and 121?

They are already subleasing transponder space to other broadcasters. News feeds, etc.

SES Americom is presumably using 105 for other uses now.

As for 121, that IS an EchoStar satellite and is probably being subleased/rented.

105 has been used for other things for a while now

121 has had news feeds on it and Dish is renting out transponder space on that satellite.
