I was wondering if anyone could tell me what quality of picture to expect from locals being beamed on the 121 bird down to a Superdish. Currently I am debating about a superdish install or just get a good aerial antenna for locals. I like the idea of the locals being digital and my DVR being able to record them but not if the quality isn't on par with the usual SD channels on 110/119 especially since it will add the install fee and monthly fee to my bill.

I am in the Erie, PA region.
Thanks

SD's are futzy to install properly, but 121 should be OK. Your PQ depends on many factors.

You need to ask a neighbor, or hope someone from Erie chimes in here.

I heard good and bad about locals on the superdish, and also I read signal strength is not great for 121 SD. Living in a snowy region with a lot of storms this may not bode well so thought I'd ask.
