hey i just installed my superdish.. waiting on my dp 44.. whats good signal quality on 121 sd.. i get 110 87 , 119 80 , 121 60 im just trying to check my work.. on it.. thinking about going out back with the meter and checking again..

this is all i can get cant figure it out on tp 11 119, 94, 110, 100, 121,64 also here are some pics.. mind u that the focal point is off on 61.5... thus the tape to bring it in better.. great straight.. still awating for my dpp 44 sw...

Do you mean 119-11=94, 110-11=100 and 121-11=64? If so, that's not bad - you've picked up several points all around.

One note - I don't see any ground wires anywhere. We've been having a lot of storms - you really need to get something going there.

yea i know... going to go pick up the 6 ft ground rod today... @ home depot.. i was awaiting my 44 switch to ground.. doing it all at once... the cable is grounded @ the house.. just got to grond all 3 dishes.. Pain in the @ss

Yeah - it IS a PITA to ground - which is why hack installers don't do it.

No sense in waiting - the DP44 should have the same ground lugs as the DP34 - or at least close enough. :)

Dpp44 have more ground lugs than DP34, nice touch :-) Made installation (for grounding) much easier. BTW, to the original question of the this thread, I just replaced my Dish 500 with SuperDish 121 along with 61.5, most of signals are aroung 110 out of 125, few ones at 123. Very nice installation by a local company specialized on antenna installation. I also opted with OTA antenna and combined signal onto the input, then split off at the receiver end, worked out very well.
