129 or 61.5?

I was reading an old thread about several new at the time HD channels that were on 129 but not on 61.5.

So I am wondering, is there a difference? In MI I expect to be setup with the EA dish, but if there's more channels on 129 I'd rather do my own setup with 129 instead. I am not going to want any international/foreign channels, if that makes a difference.

Anyone have any info or suggestions?

An Eastern arc dish will give you 61.5, 72.7 and 77. All the HD available are located on those three. 129 is part of the Western Arc. You will see everything that 129 has with the Eastern Arc.

Any national HD that is one 129 are either on 61.5 or 72. With EA you get both 61.5 and 72 so you would be all set with EA, unless your locals are HD on 129.
