I was looking over the 211/211k manual and found that it needs a minimum of 50GB and max of 750. I just ordered a Western Digital Elements of 1TB, any chances that it will be recognized by the 211k? Thanks

Indeed. I'm running a WD 2 TB EHD on my 722. Works fine.
Yes, but will a 2TB work on a 211? Last I knew the 722 and 211 had different limits. Although I have no idea why.

If the 211 will take a 2TB, that would be great and I would add one to my 211.

The currently available 21 page DISH Network DVR conversion pdf file is outdated.
File name is 167084_AA_DVR_Conversion.fm. Dated 12/24/2008
It states a 750 GB maximum, but Dish reps. claim that the maximum has been removed (or no longer stated) for the 211/211k/411.

There is a newer 2 page FAQ DISH DVR conversion pdf that was linked to an eBay receiver seller that states a maximum of 1 TB. Dated 04/13/2009

I am using the WD Elements 1 TB.
