2 Quick Install Questions

Hey guys -
I have two quick questions. I am having the installer come out tomorrow to install a 61.5 dish (free under Atlanta must carry) but I want it for the Voom channels. My questions are:
1) Don't the installers usually call the day before they are coming? I set up the install on Sunday for tomorrow (between 8 and noon), but I got no call today confirming the install.

2) My line of sight to 61.5 is a little tough. The installer is either going to need to put the dish on the other side of my house from my current Dish 500, install on a poll way in the back yard and run the cable along the fence, or install on the roof. I'm very hesitant about letting anything happen on the roof. I know many of you have done this and had no problems with it, but it makes me very nervous. What do you guys suggest that I tell the installer?

I suggest you tell him where you prefer to have it put... if he can't get a signal from there then you two need to figure out where you feel comfortable having it mounted

And for the other question. Some companys "like mine" call the morning of to confirm installation appointment.

Well they didn't call, but he did come on time and did a great job. We found a great location (poll mount) that seems to be working great. Very nice guy as well!
