Hmmm ... does that mean One could get Fired and Hired by another team the next week ?Does that mean that players who violently remove opponents from the game could be fired instead of ejected for the rest of the game? If this is a Business, players should be subject to legal ramifications of their actions and behavior.
I was thinking of also being sued by the injured party. "Were you Targeted by an out-of-control Safety after you went to the ground? You may be able to collect your due!"Hmmm ... does that mean One could get Fired and Hired by another team the next week ?
I recall something about transfer portals being initiated to prevent such abuse.does that mean One could get Fired and Hired by another team the next week ?
Hopefully whatever ends up being the rules, includes that the Portal doesn't Open until AFTER ALL games are done (After the Championship game). Get rid of the one in December. From what I recall, they did have a Lane Kiffin - Bobby Petrino clause in there, to keep coaches from sneaking off in the middle of the night and showing up working for another team the next morning. Can't remember if this was only during playoffs or regular season or both.![]()
Boilermakers Win ...Purdue Boilermakers got a Big Ten win, the first since beating Indiana in 2023, so I'm in a good mood. Plus, Michigan lost in Minnesota for the first time in fifty years, so the added joy of seeing Belichek losing in the rain is just piling on.

Then again, I expected Iowa to give the Buckeyes trouble on the Offensive side, Iowa always has a Very Good Defense.
Iowa Double teamed Jeremiah Smith and he still had 11 catches for over 200 yards and 2 TD's.
I really expected a 17-10 type game ...I thought that Iowa played a good game and gave the Bucknuts all they wanted. To me and the wife, looked like it was
closer than score indicated. Was a good game.
As far as Jeremiah Smith goes, he is as close to being unstoppable as anyone I have seen this year. Looks like he is the deserving candidate for the Heisman trophy for tOSU.
