One of the dealers I work for wants hook up a 211k to a hybrid lnb (port 2).
will it work?
They tried a switch test with and got "38" results.
That receiver has been sitting for more then 6 months (no new software), could that be the problem or is it just not compatible?

So its one or the other?
Looks like they will need a 2nd dish with dpp lnb then, correct?

But the good news is I can put up the EA Dish 1000.2 w/Hybrid LNB and it will work with my ViP 211k, and in a year or two, I can upgrade to a Wally and that will work, too.

Also, I guess the question is do you connect directly to the LNB, no hubs or nodes in the signal path? Finally, is anyone selling a complete Dish 1000.2 w/EA Hybrid LNB package for $100? I see I can get a $99 EA 1000.2, but it comes with the DPP LNB, not the Hybrid.
