I guess things have changed since I first signed up with E*. Back then I had a commitment of 12 months, during which my 811 was completely covered by warranty.
Not so the 211.
The CSR informed me that while I will have an 18-month lease commitment, the 211 is only warranteed for 90 days. If I want any coverage after 90 days I have to pay for the DHPP.
WTF?
I'm obligated to lease the equipment for 18 months, but it's only warranteed for 3 months?
This company has gone downhill in a big fat hairy way. Can they come up with any more ways to nickel and dime longtime customers? First a $6.00 monthly "lease fee" on the first receiver, now the fscking thing isn't even covered by a fscking warranty!!
