250' run to receiver?

is 250 ' too far of a run from dish pro lnb to receiver?

I believe that per installation manual, DishPro equip is good for 200' with RG-6. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence that 200' is conservative, esp if good quality RG-6 and connectors are used. A step up would be RG-11, but as it is much more expensive per foot, trying with RG-6 is the way to go.

I agree with the above, my longest run measured in at 280ft and it seemed to work ok.

I've been running 250+ (temporarily) for the last few months, and other than a bad connector, I've never had a problem.

I can't wait for my house remodel to be done so I can get that RG6 off the floor.
