2nd Hd receiver takes forever to "wake-up"

just got installed this past wednesday. i have 4 tvs hooked up, 2 hd and 2 sd's. on the first hd where the dvr receiver is, works fine. both sd's work fine. on my 2nd hd one, when i turn the power on, it takes a long time (about 10 minutes) before i can use the remote. I'll press guide and it wont blink or anything on the receiver. I can press menu on the receiver and it'll pop up quick. If i put the remote less than 2 inches away from the receiver it'll work, but thats not practical. i changed the batteries so i know thats not it. I had it getting signal originally thru coax so i ran a cat5 cable to it thinking it was lagging, but didnt change. any ideas?

got it fixed..needed to turn off energy saver on my tv.
