3 DP LNBs to DP34 to 622 ?

Can I hook 3 single DP LNBs to a DP34 and then have a single cable run to the 622 (with the splitter in back) Will that work?

The idea is to have 3 dishes each with a DP LNB, and combine them using the DP34 and then run the single output from the DP34 to the 622.

Will I need any more hardware to make it work?

Wont work.....to make DishPro plus work you need 3 DPP items
-Receiver (you got that)
-Separator (you got that)
-DP34 (buzz....wrong answer berg! )

You would need the DPP44 to do the single cable run (you can still use the 3 separate dishes with DP LNB's)

If you want to use the DP34 you will have to run 2 lines to the 622 and not use the seperator.

I like that idea better.

So you'd run the 3 single DP LNBs into the DP34 and then take two coax runs into the house (out of the DP34) and hook them to the 622...right?

I was thinking of laying 2 coax runs at the new house anyway

You can get a dish pro plus lnb and use that and then you could use a single cable and seperator to you 622

ok then a dish pro plus lnb will work for you.

do you have a dish 500 and a second dish or a dish 1000

either way the the dish pro plus lnb looks at 110/119 and then the 3rd slot connects to an input to the lnb and then it has 2 out puts that can feed 2 dual tuner receivers, just hook 1 cable to port 1 output to your 622

I've got two Dish 500s a Dish 1000 and two 1.2 meters.

It's all working fine now, but I haven't got anything to do and I'm bored.

I was thinking of three 1.2 meters each with a DP LNB.

I'd put a DPP dual on one of the 1.2 meter dishes, but I'm not sure that would work since the curvature of the 1.2 meter dish is different than the Dish 1000.

Besides I have four DP LNB singles and a DP34.

Those are hard to find and I believe they have been discontinued so hang on to them.

Maybe I have my terminology screwed up. The 4 that I have are like the 129 LNB that is on the Dish 1000. I just got them off Ebay (new they claimed)

The singles have only 1 output, the duals have 2 outputs. The D1000 comes with a DP Dual for 129.

Sure, they will work. They will have an unused port but that's OK. I was just surprised that you had DP singles.
