Was wanting to know how easy it would be to use the 3 LNBF Mounting Bracket from SatelliteAV on an old Primestar dish. If I need to cut the arm down, then what length?

What sats should I hit with it to get the most bang for the buck?

Thanks.....

I ordered two sets of those brackets, and they arrived Wednesday.
Haven't done anything with 'em yet.
Figured they would be good to have "in stock" for the next time I got a wild hair.
They're not fancy, but very functional.
Based on what I've seen Linuxman put on Primestar dishes, I'd say these brackets would be pretty nice to use (and for that price!).
Certainly worth having , just for the spare LNB holders.
They're made to go on a GeoSat/3ABN/(and probably)Fortec dish, but should bolt right onto a Primestar, I believe.

btw, it's really two more brackets, for a total of three LNB locations.
edit: looks like you could put the outboard LNB maybe 5.75" out from your central LNB.
possibly 6.125, in a pinch.

And while you are ordering, check out the other goodies.
I got a big box of stuff from him... and I understand he's about to add something new to the offer!
pssst: ya heard it here on SatGuys !

Ok. Thanks. Yes, I think my friends and I are going to order a box of stuff ourselves, just to have.

Thanks...
