Where is a good place to get a 36"/1 meter dish?
My problem, as many have, is rain fade or more like it rain drop out.
I went and put a 24" in and my sig went from ~85 to ~92 on a clear day.
I still get lots of rain fade, but not quite as bad as before.
With the low elevation here (15) to the voom sat, any rain to the east of me and the sig. is down and then out for the count.
It drops to 85 or as low as 75 with a light rain.
I have seen it as low as 50 and 35 during a heavy rain.
My feeling is that a 24" dish should be the minimum here (N. Calif).
And that 30 is a more realistic size.
So, not wanting to spend money on a 30" dish then finding it's not quite enough.
I figure I should just get a 36" and be done with it.
So back to my question:
Where to get a large dish?
Thanks!

Try sadoun.com. I bought a 31" for here in hurricane land aka: NW Florida-home of Ivan the Terrible. I was watching the Weather Channel all through the hurricane and didn't lose the signal until the power went out-midnight---the eye came ashore at 1 am. I would have started my generator then but I did not want to go outside with the winds at 150 mph and all the crap flying around. My Dishnet dish and Directv dish had shingle imprints on them and my 10' C-band dish got 4 panels knocked out and three others pushed open. That 31" Fortec I bought from Sadoun worked like a charm.
