I know I need a dual LNB with two feeds to the switches. From there would it be two 4-way power passing splitters to four 8 output switches? I'd love to use the DTV6x8 switches if possible... Or am I way off here? I've never tried so many on a FTA.

yes, it can be done like that, with the directv switches and all.
out of 1 side of the lnb into a 4-way high frequency power passing splitter with those 4 outputs into 18v on the input for 101w on 4 6x8 switches
then out of the other side of the lnb into another 4-way high frequency power passing splitter with those 4 outputs into 13v on the input for 101w on the same switches.
the splitters have to be hooked up to the same input on each switch.

Tomorrow I add one more dish! 7 dishes, 8 feeds.
