3rd LNB for HDTV

I have an eliptical satalite dish with 2 lnb and I need to add a 3rd lnb. I got infor on how do that by a a person named jason. I was wondering if I Only want the HDTV signal to go to one receiver do i need to by the 4 x 4 splitter or is the splitter needed reguardless.

Yes, you will need a 4X4 multiswitch. You basically take the two lines coming in from Sat A (101) and plug them into the multiswitch directly. Then you take one line from Sat B (119) and plug it directly into the multiswitch. The Sat C (110) kit comes with an LNB for 110, a sat B/C combiner, and a short piece of coax. You take the other outlet of Sat B, hook that into the combiner with Sat C, and then run the one coax from the combiner into the multiswitch. Then you hook up your receivers to the multiswitch.

Only your HD Receiver will be able to see the HD channels.
