I just got my Hopper/Joey system installed today and have programmed thee remotes with my TV codes, but I must be doing something wrong because I can't control any TV functions except the volume.

If I press the TV mode button, it blinks red and then the SAT button lights up green and none of the TV commands do anything except changing the volume. What am I missing?

Go to settings, remote manager, limited, and disable limited mode.
