I would like to hook up another reciever to my Dish 500 system. I currently have a DP Quad Lnb. I was told I could run two lines from the Quad to a 34 swith which would allow me to run 4 recievers off the 34switch and use the remaining 2 lines from the LNB to run the 5th reciever and still have one line for later use. Is this possible. Would like to know before I go changing everything in my closet.

Thanks Kent, one other question regarding this hook-up. Do I need to use two lines off of the same side of the Lnb to the 34 switch? i.e both off the 110 or 119, or do I need to take onwe line off the 110 & one off the 199 or does it even matter?

I don't believe it should matter which two outputs you use for the DP34. However, to keep things organized in the event you ever need to troubleshoot your install I would suggest using the first two ports on the DP Quad to connect to the DP34
