508 and 500pro dish

Will a 508 receiver work with a 500pro dish?

Do I need to use a sw21?

yes the 508 will work with the dish 500....if indeed the lnb is dish pro (Large "DP" on the front) no external switch is needed.....just be sure to hook receiver to one of the outputs, not the "lnb in" port.....

Yes you can use the 508 with a 500 twin LNB no additional switches needed. However the 508 is being phased out so they may not activate it for you.
