510 - Clock Problem

I have a 510 installed. The clock is running an hour fast. When I called Dish they told me to reset which didn't help. I also unplugged for an hour which didn't help.

Can anyone help?
 
Kaydigi, you don't say where you're located or who long your 510 has had this problem. All Dish receivers get the time from the satellite and adjust for your account's time zone. They even take care of DST for you (if you need it; most of Indiana and all of Arizona don't follow DST.) Dish could have your account confused.
 
East Coast. The Box was in Richmond, VA then moved to NYC. The box has been disconnected since 10/1 and reactivated this past weekend. Never had this problem before.
 
I've read about this problem a few times. It seems alot like if a receiver with the new smartcard is deactivated and misses the end of DST will not end using DST. My best guess is that after April 3 it will be correct from then on.

I'll tell my pops to hold out until then.
