510 DVR missing recordings

Some of my timers on my 510 DVR are not firing. I checked the timer menu and they
are still there (weekly timers). Has anyone else had this problem? Should I delete all
of my timers and reprogram them? I've reset the unit by pressing the power button and
pulling the plug but I am still not getting all of my recordings. Is there anything else I can
try?

I lost all my Monday night recordings, earlier this week.
My 508 didn't record. Not even the tech-talk.
They were both weekly and once-only timers.
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday timers have worked okay , so far as I can tell.

I have not accepted the firmware upgrade, so that isn't likely a problem.
Was really on here looking for some discussion of the firmware.
I've noticed other odd things lately... not taking the guide, not showing the guide properly, etc.

If the guide wasn't up-to-date, that wouldn't stop a timer, would it?

...and yes, I have power-cycled the PVR... about once a week.
