How do I record a show and watch another at the same time?

It only has one tuner so set timer for show you want to record and then push dvr button twice and select what you want to watch that you have previously recorded and select start.

You can't record one and watch another with the 510 at the same time....It must be a dual tuner to do that.

so what you are saying is, I can not record a show on USA @ 10pm and watch a show @ 10 pm on TBS. If this is true, what dvr will allow this?

SD models are 522 abd 625, HD models are 622 and 722.
