522 control box

I may want to go back to the 522 control box as this 722 box has not worked very well. My question if I get a HDTV will the 522 send OTA locals in HD to my TV?

The 522 has no OTA tuner, your tv will have to have an atsc tuner and plug your antenna directly to the tv.
