I have five PVI Video Pixel 720p ATSC/QAM HD Modulators I'm looking to sell. I thought I would offer them to the masses here before I tried eBay. I bought these because I had this "grand plan" of modulating all our receivers and devices onto antenna channels throughout the house and consolidating everything with our over the air antenna channels but ended up abandoning the project. All of these are brand new in their original boxes. I'm asking $250 shipped but will consider offers or package deals if anyone is interested in more than one. Regular price from PVI is $295.
These go up to 720pm max but they are prefect for security cameras, etc. The video quality is good, though I will admit it appears as though there is some "grain" sometime. The channels are assigned via dipswitches (see the attached manual) and it can do ATSC or QAM. This would work perfect for combining the output of FTA receivers with antenna feeds, security cameras, etc.
See the attached manual, and a test video clip is available via Dropbox. The test video was recorded from an HR24 modulated in via HDMI. So far these do NOT appear to have issues with HDCP as anything I've thrown at the one I am using has modulated fine. YMMV though.
