61.5, 110/119 and 129 with 3 dishes

Greetings.
I am new to this forum. I currently have 110/119 dual LNB with 61.5 hooked to it. The 110/119 dish cannot "see" 129 (which lets out a combined dish)... I just obtained enough parts (dish 500, single yoke, and single DPP LNB) to "see" the 129 orbital location (if I can find a "hole" in all the trees around me :( ...)

What SWITCH do I need to be able to use 3 dishes... 61.5, combined 110/119, and 129? Can I get by with a DP33? Or do I have to use a DP 44?

Or???

Thanks!

Jeff

Why not point the 61.5 dish at 129

Perhaps the OP needs 61.5 for locals? What about getting a W.A. Dish 1000.2 and hooking up the 61.5 dish to the extra port? Later, DC Edit - I just re-read the OP and it looks like the location the 110/119 dish is at can not see the 129 satellite so the Dish 1000.2 would not work unless a new spot can be found that can see all three 110, 119 and 129 Maybe a E.A. Dish 1000.4 with a wing on 110 or 119? What are you getting from these two satellites?

DPP44 switch. You need to run a cable run for each satellite to the switch, total of 4 runs.

What confuses me about this setup is the 110/119 dish has one combined cable for each receiver (combining 110 and 119). It also has the "wing dish" input that further combines the signal from 61.5.

To answer others who have responded to me, yes, my 110/119 dish cannot 'see' 129. My 61.5 is located where it cannot see 129 either. My hope is a tiny corner of my lot where I might be able to locate a single dish to pick up 129. At that location, I know I would not be able to see 110, and possibly not 119, so a Dish 1000 is out as well.

About re-pointing 61.5, I hate to "mess with success"... i.e., I'm reluctant to re-point 61.5 until I am really certain I can pick up 129. I would rather be able to receive them all.

Too many trees around here... and it is a mobile home community... tough to get them trimmed or cut. Dish mounted high-powered laser, anyone? :)

The final switch [before receiver] in the daisy chain controls. Best success is going to run direct connections into DPP44 as previously advised. Remember to install the powered inserter on port 1.

Yes, because one line will be for 110 and the other will be fore 119. I believe you will need to connect your lines in this order:

DPPTwin (1) to DPP44 (1)
DPPTwin (2) to DPP44 (2)
DPSngl (129) to DPP44 (3)
DPSngl (61.5) to DPP44 (4)

Needs to remove the DPPTwin and replace it with a regular DPTwin otherwise there will be problems.
