61.5 dish

Question, once all my local migrate to the 110 slot do to Echostar X what use will I have with my dish located at 61.5?

there are a few (the original MPEG2 ones) that are on 110
the rest are on 61.5 & 129

What's the difference in hd channels that are on 61.5 compared to 129?

The ones on 61.5/129 are MPEG4 and the Voom channels

The only other reason to keep the 61.5 slot is for some of the public interest channels. Which I rarely watch.

Good Samaritan Network
Holistic Television NEtwork
Panhandle Area Education Consortium
Business TV(Not in the clear)

Or if you subscribe to SkyAngel (9700's)

Or if you want CBS-HD East out of NY (9483) I watch this quite a bit.

The only other reason to keep the 61.5 slot is for some of the public interest channels.

Or in my case - can't get a decent signal off 129 with the Dish 1000...
