Am trying to install secondary dish for HD programming in NW arkansas....no line of site for 129. I am not that familiar with this install...what transponder should I be on? Thanks

8 10 & 12 are CONUS transponders so you can use them..they have SD programming

2 16 19 20 21 24 are examples of HD transponders (also CONUS)

I think TP 29 is one of the strongest to peak on.

you might want to see if you can find a spot that will be able to get 129, they have uplinked our local hd channels to that bird. they are not available yet, but if you point to 61.5 then you won't be able to get the locals unless you have an OTA setup too. good luck though.

I was told by an installer here in KC to use TP14, so that's what I did. No complaints. 129 is a much stronger bird than 61.5 is, and running 200' from my DPPlus to a 129 wing dish still had as much signal as using 61.5 straight to the receiver. My setup is kind of exceptional, though.
