Anyone know if the reason this feature has never been implimented in the 612 is due to hardware or software issues?

Don't know for sure except that the receiver is only made for one tv. ON Directv their dvrs are dual tuner single output only ,and they don't have pip either. It may have something to do with the output feature. Although my old 721 dual tuner dvr ,single output , did have pip. Maybe just a limitation in software then.
When I first heard about the 612, I just figured it would have that feature. Seems stupid not to.
I only use my 622 in single mode as is.
