622 and 222 remote questions

Are the remotes IR and RF?

Has anyone had any experience using a Harmony universal remote with the 622 and the 222?

I wish we had the option to use IR for both TV1 and TV2. My hard-wired IR distro solution is MUCH more reliable than the UHF/RF TV2 remote - and then I could use a real universal remote in both rooms too!

Some models of 522 or so had a turn-over green and blue tab on the bottom. This switched from UHF to IR or vv. So it may be possible although most wanted both UHF, not IR. A silver tab cannot be turned. Let us know what works or not.

BTW, find how you set both remote addresses and the dual RF output channels.

Interesting about the green/blue tab. I'll have to take a look.

It would be awesome if the 622 has this feature. I hate the press and pray with the UHF remote, although I have the infrastructure available to remote the antenna to the TV2 location, but would prefer to use one of my universal's instead of Dish's remote.
