622 and local OTA HD channels

Can anybody tell me if you could watch local OTA HD channels on 2 tvs at the same time with the 622?

Also is it true you can only watch 1 HD sat channel on 1 tv at a time if you had the 622 hooked up to 2 tvs.? meaning the other could only get SD? Thanks in advance. BP

Yes. It only has a 1 HD output and the other is an SD output.

Don't know about the 622. On the 811, all the outputs are active all the time, so you could use the DVI and the component simultaneously.

There is only one HD OTA tuner, and the output can only be on TV1, but you can tune the TV1 station on any TV by choosing the right channel. At least that's how I understand it. You can also watch recorded OTA HD on either output after it's been recorded...

As for Sat HD channels, either TV output can watch any HD sat channel. On TV2 it will be downconverted to SD. On TV1, it will be HD via the component and HDMI outputs, and SD via the video, svideo, and modulated output.
