622 asking to confirm phone connection!

I hooked up my 622 and downloaded upgrades to get ready for Dish install on Sunday. I thought I had read about this but now cant find info.

Upon receiver re-starting after intial software download it goes to a seemingly required phone connection screen. I thought I could pay the 5 bucks and not have to worry about the phone connection. I cant find a way to bypass this.

Any info please?

That was the only way to get rid of the message in my 625 when I installed it. I would assume the 622 is the same way.

Tried reboot with no differance.

I am in stock single mode (where it will stay)

you need too call dish and have the phone line pass put on your account

When you activate the 622 they will ask if the phone line is connected... FWIW. Take it from there....

i got mine to go away...soft reboot twice did it for me...dont have a phone to plug it into if i could
