So today Dish came out to install the 622, the installer said I was listed for a 1000+ upgrade, why I have no clue, but first thing he does is notice that the dish is up 25 feet on the roof and it is raining like crazy. Me being the nice guy I am tell him that right now I see no reason why they should take down the SD105 and replace, I have a wing dish and 61.5 at the moment.
My question to you guys is, would you have made them put the 1000+ in. If so what would the benefit have been, currently I have a 100+ signal strength on all sats, and there is nothing on 129 that is not on 61.5, and I do not think anything is on 118 at the moment that would benefit me, I know Indianapolis HD was supposed to go up and I have WTHR, and WRTV with SV., but I know they took them down and SV is going to go away.
Did I make the right decision or should I have them come out and put the 1000+ up.
