622 IR remote carrier frequency

In order to control an out of sight receiver hooked up to my TV, I'm looking at IR remote extenders. One of the ones I found specifies the remote must use a 40Khz or 56kHz carrier frequency. Anyone know if the 622 IR remote adheres to either one?

It's not the 622 I want to control. I want the 622 remote to control an audio receiver thats behind a cabinet.

Those freqencies are pretty standard...I'd be suprised if the Dish remotes don't use them.
