622 remote problems

I'm having problems with my number 2 remote, it seems I have to go into the
room were my 622 is at.

the remote will not work the second set in the room its in and its only 15 feet away,
I even moved the antena but adding a extra five foot cable.

Have you gone through the proceedure in the manual (page 72) to set both to the same Remote Address?
