625 Black Sceen

I have a 625 that goes to a black sceen while changing chanels on tv1 Dvr won't work but tv2 is fine. This happened once but tonite the reverse happened tv2 went black tv1 fine. When I tried to use the dvr the counter for the time left was over a million hours. The only way out is to pull the plug. Any ideas?

When did this begin? Exactly when did you first notice this (date and time)?

It might be caused by a download problem. Or (more likely) if your receiver is never placed in standby mode to receive such downloads this may cause the problem.

Does your dvr work at all? (Have you lost dvr functionality?)

Within your dvr recordings list do you find a 'Recovered' file ?

my 625 does that all the time too, but I never noticed the million hours thing O_O

In fact, I have to reboot the darn thing so much it gets on my nerves. I always figured my switch was just dodgy.

It first happened on 6/29 at around 8:00 and 7/3 at 9:30pm.

DVR works fine after reboot.

No 'Recovered' file in recordings.
