Can you get service with a DVR 625 without a home phone? Will you just have to pay the $5 per month without a phone line?

yeah you can do that, and yes it will be $5 extra /month. You wont be able to order any pay per view on on demand movies with your remote though

Thanks for the quick response. My customer is getting phone service installed anyway. It just wont be connected before the 625 is installed.
