Don't they also have themselves backed up on servers or HDDs? If they want to look at any of their own stuff they have to go to the cloud? I guess that could be a convenience vs. maintaining their own searchable, backed-up archive, but it seems really irresponsible

50 TB is the scope of things isnt really that big. Hell my home NAS is 24 TB and I am not PBS.
